Winter Weekend in Niagara Falls

March Break has come & gone but my favourite part was spending the weekend in Niagara Fall. It’s a great weekend getaway any time of the year. In the winter months the falls are so beautiful, you can see where the water starts to freeze creating a frozen wonderland. It’s unbelievable to watch the water flow over the edge and crash into the frozen river below and was the first place we visited.

In the winter or summer you can still explore Clifton Hill, a street full of  fun things to do for the whole family. They have good restaurants & shops, we went one night for dinner and then went on the Skywheel! It’ a 175-foot tall Ferris wheel with an amazing view of the House Shoe Falls & the American Falls. It’s definitely something I recommend you try when visiting Niagara Falls. The cabins are climate controlled so you will stay warm inside in the winter months.

It was so cold & rainy we only made it back to the falls once more before we left but it was such a fun, relaxing weekend. Niagara Falls is always a beautiful place to visit all year round, leave a comment below if you have ever been to Niagara fall! I’d love to hear from you!
