Chloé Love Story EDT

Hey Loves! Over the Valentine’s Long weekend I had the amazing opportunity to attend the VIP breakfast in honour of the new Chloé perfume Love Story Eau De Tiolette. This wonderful morning was hosted by talented beauty expert Dave Lackie at the adorable Wish restaurant in the Yorkville neighbourhood. We were served a Parisian inspired breakfast complete with fresh fruit, french toast and mini fried Nutella sandwiches. The food was so delicious and it was lovely to see some familiar faces from past events.

The breakfast began with a presentation on the evolution of Chloe’s fragrance Love Story and how the love story continues with their new Love Story EDT. It was so inspiring to hear all of the details that go into creating a new fragrance and the campaign. I personally loved how they used the same models that appeared in the original fragrance to continue the love story the morning after. Even the bottle embraces the paris theme by mimicking the love locks on the Pont des Arts bridge in Paris.

The perfume itself is sensual and has a fresh scent, with notes of orange blossom, prunus flower and dewey floral accord. Love Story EDT is such a beautiful bouquet, while not too overpowering, the floral hints are reminder that Spring is just around the corner. Lastly I’m obsessed with the small pouch we received in the gift bag, it’s so pretty and is perfect for keeping my beauty essentials in my purse.

A special thank you to Dave for having me to another one of your memorable VIP events, I feel so grateful to have the same experiences of a true beauty editor 🙂
